Long-distance work is priced differently from local moves. The main factors are:

• Distance between the collection and delivery addresses
• Load size and the vehicle required
• Tolls, which are charged at cost where the route requires them
• Whether the trip requires an overnight stop or more than one day

Preparing for a long move

Pack everything into sturdy, sealed boxes, wrap furniture corners and fragile items, and keep valuables, documents and medication with you. Let us know about access at the destination: narrow farm roads, security estates or apartment rules can affect delivery.
