Most complexes have gate access, visitor-parking rules and set moving hours, and some limit the size of vehicles allowed inside. Sea-facing properties can be exposed to strong wind, and some newer areas have sandy verges where a heavy truck shouldn't stop. Please tell us:

• the floor level and lift availability
• photos of rubble or bulky items

Good to know

Table View and Blouberg have many sectional-title complexes with strict moving rules, such as no moves on Sundays or fixed weekday hours, and some require a refundable deposit for damage to common property. Check your conduct rules and let us know them when you book. Lifts in newer apartment blocks are often smaller than you'd expect, so measure couches, fridges and bed bases before moving day. Large items may need to come up the stairs. Building activity in Parklands and further north means plenty of rubble and material transport. Coordinate deliveries with your builder so material arrives when there is space to tip it and someone is on site to confirm where it goes.
